  • Waalhaven Botlek Terminal is a barge and short-sea terminal offering all facilities to handle cargo efficiently and with a high service level. With an annual capacity of 250,000 TEU full and 8,000 empty containers, the terminal can handle all types of barges and feeders with a draught of up to 6.5 metres. Waalhaven Botlek Terminal is strategically located between the Rotterdam city terminals and the Maasvlakte container terminals, and is able to handle and store large numbers of containers for low rates. Due to its location, the terminal acts as an Intermodal Transferium for containers in the Rotterdam Botlek area and its surroundings, offering intermodal connections from and to the sea terminals in Rotterdam and Antwerp. The terminal has “Entrepot C” Customs status enabling clients to ship and store containers with the minimum of Customs procedures and documents. The Terminal is equipped with reefer connections and has a licence for the storage and transhipment of hazardous cargo. There is also a separate location where containers can be degassed. Combined with the repair and cleaning facilities at the terminal - via United Waalhaven Terminals - the Waalhaven Botlek Terminal also offers a completely integrated terminal and depot concept. Since its foundation in 2001, ROC Waalwijk has offered a complete service package around transport over water to and from the Waalwijk region. Whether it’s for transport, storage or transhipment of containers, exceptional or bulk cargo or the complete clearance of overseas import and export shipments, the ROC Waalwijk team is always at your service.
