  • Barge Terminal Born is an inland terminal and barge operator for deep sea and short sea containers. Three barges with capacities ranging from 150 TEU to 300 TEU each, sail continuously back and forth between Born and sea terminals in Rotterdam and Antwerp. BTB transports around 2,100 TEU per week. There are six regular departures per week between Born and all water-bound terminals in Rotterdam and Antwerp. Barge Terminal Born specialises in taking care of the whole logistics operation involving hinterland transport, including customs clearance, for freight forwarders, shipping companies and shippers. This logistics concept, co-developed with clients, results in an efficient, sustainable, competitively priced, tailor-made operation.
